- 1 large head cauliflower
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1/4 cup water
- Sesame seeds
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut off the bottom stem. Carefully slice the cauliflower into 2 cm thick steaks.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, freshly grated ginger, and sesame oil. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the mixture.
- Prepare the tahini sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, coconut aminos, rice vinegar, freshly grated ginger, sesame oil, lime juice, and water until smooth.

To get started, preheat your Oakford Pellet to medium-high heat while you prepare your cauliflower steaks.

Place the cauliflower steaks on the cooking surface and braai for 5-6 minutes on each side, until they’re caramelised and tender.

Serve the braaied cauliflower steaks with the tahini sauce drizzled on top and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped parsley.
