- 1 cup coarse maize
- 2 eggs
- 20 ml of baking powder
- 1 can of kernel corn
- 1 Can of Sweetcorn
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 sugar
- Half pack of shredded bacon crispy fried
- 500ml cream
- 1 can of your favourite tomato and onion mix
Preparation
Mix all ingredients (EXCEPT the cream, tomato smother and cheese), then add them to a butter-greased casserole dish.
Cooking Instructions

Turn on your Pellet and set the temperature to 180°C.

Bake the ‘Paptert’ for 40 min until it has set nicely.

Remove the ‘Paptert’, pour the 500ml cream over the ‘Paptert’ and let it soak in.

Once the cream has soaked, then pour the can of tomato smother over the top.

Cover with a layer of grated cheese.

Set your Pellet to 250°C and put it back on the braai until the cheese nicely melted.
