Preparation

Using your Nexgrill App set the Pellet grill to the smoke cooking method at 180°C using the Oakford Premium Pellets Heritage Blend.

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Place a cast iron pan on the grid when the pellet grill reaches the temperature. Sauté diced onion, red pepper and garlic in a bit of olive oil.

  2. 2

While that is cooking, cut up all your left over braai meat into small bite-size pieces and add the tomato paste, beans, Jan Braai sauce, and the tomato and onion mix to your pan.

  3. 3

Cook for the next 5-7 minutes for the flavours to infuse and then remove the pan from the heat. Make a few small holes in the contents of your pan, and break an egg into each one. Top with grated cheese and mozzarella.

  4. 4

Increase the temperature to 200°C and place it back on your Oakford Pellet Grill for 20 minutes till the eggs are done to your liking.

  5. 5

Serve with fresh bread toasted in slices on your Oakford.
